Last Try to Win

For many weeks of teamwork, dedication, sweats, tears, and especially progress, the volleyball girls finally reached their last game on October 20th. It took place at I.A.D. at 6:30 p.m. Even though it was their last game they tried their best to win.
On the ending of the first round the score was 25 to 23, which meant they were winning. Still that didn’t stop them from trying. They played as best as they could and by the end of the second round their score was 25 to 17, they won their last game!
With all the cheering and excitement from winning the game, I ask how does it feel playing your last game? “Relief, because I’m ready for basketball,” quoted Kiana Hayes, a player on the team. Most of the girls said the exact thing, some were sad it was over so quickly but still everyone was relieved to have won. Did they enjoy their season in volleyball? “Yes, but it was kind of short for me,” quoted Ly-ann. Most girls said the same answer. Baylee states she’ll be staying for next season, and that she can’t wait to be on the team again.
Even though the season of volleyball has ended, us Harmony tigers won’t forget the good and bad times we faced with the Harmony girls volleyball team.
