Science Olympiad at Harmony School of Innovation is a club by Mr. Goren where students compete using teamwork in science and having fun. Students learn about crime busters, optics, diseases, and many more.
Most students enjoy science Olympiad because of the competition they push themselves into. A seventh grader, Ashley says, “Science Olympiad is fun because of other students we get to beat in competitions”. Right now they are learning about the topic they chose to do projects about such as solving crimes, food science, fingerprint and hair analyzing, and diseases. Mostly everyone has been in Science Olympiad for at least a year and are planning to stay for next year.
Science Olympiad is a chance for students to learn more on projects as a team. Their first competition occurs in December which are looking forward to perform their best.
