This year Harmony School of Innovation came up with a new program for high school students called CRLP (college readiness leadership program). This program prepares students on SAT’s for college and do extracurricular activities to help with their college applications.
Most of the students we interviewed don’t really like CRLP but they know it’s going to help their future. Stephenie(10B), Saadman(9A), Arash(10A), Miranda(9A), and Cara(9A) agreed that they will only stay in CRLP for their future and the “Free food “, said Saadman Khan. I asked all of the CRLP members if they planned on staying in CRLP for the rest of their high school years and a lot of them replied “yes, because it’s helping my future”. In fact, Stephenie Navarro replied, “Yes, because it makes me look smarter”. Most of the members would recommend their friends to join CRLP.” I think most of the people in CRLP are the ones who belong in it”, said Cara Loehding.
With the CRLP advisors, Mrs. Aksoy, Mr.Hydrov, and Mr. John, helping the students perform to their highest potential, I believe all the students will have a very intelligent future and this program will turn out incredibly successful.
