Fablehaven is an action packed book series that rivals the Harry Potter book series. Brandon Mull, the writer of the Fablehaven book series, made the first book on July 30, 2006. There are two main characters in the series Seth, who is devious and brave, and his sister Kendra, who is the goody two shoes of the book series.
Seth and Kendra were dropped off at their grandparents place for the summer where they find out about the existence of magical beans, but not all of them are good. There are those that wish to open ZZyxe, The prison that holds the most powerful demons in the world, and lay waste to Earth. The only way for them to open the prison is to collect five keys which have great powers. It becomes Seth and Kendra’s job to find the keys and hide them away for those whom wish to open the prison.
This series has to be one of the best I have ever read. The character progression is great and it’s very enchanting. The plot is ok, but the decisions are god like. I could see the characters racing around in my head. The bad thing about the books is that there are only five books in the series. I give this series a five out of five.
