Bill Gates is one of the world’s wealthiest people. He dropped out of Harvard University because he wanted to start Microsoft. Through Microsoft, he made Windows and Office which is used by millions of people worldwide. Many people think that Bill Gates is smart and successful, but I think that he is also a great role model.
Bill Gates believes in helping students and donating money to charity. He created the Gates Millennium Scholars Program that gives scholarships to one thousand students each year to attend their favorite university. He believes that the scholarship “is an opportunity to change your life”. Bill Gates also helps the community by donating money to charity. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Gates-Buffet Giving Pledge were created to help people in need. He has received many awards for his charity work and is ranked as one of the most powerful people in the world.
