Saint Valentines Day

On February 14, people all across the world express their love and affection by presenting roses, candy, cards, chocolates, and stuffed animals. This day is known as Saint Valentines Day. The colors that symbolize this day are red, pink, and white in which gifts are presented. Modern day Valentines Day symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves and cupid.
Opinions may vary to where Valentines Day originated from. Some believe the day is named after one or more early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine. Others believe it contained history of both Christian and ancient roman tradition.
Regardless of all beliefs this holiday continues to be celebrated as a symbol of love all across the world.
