Coach Noel Vasquez has coached at Harmony School of Innovation for three years now. He has coached for a total of five years. Before Mr. Vasquez became a coach he worked as a personal trainer at a gym. When asked if Coach Vasquez liked to coach, he said he loves to coach. Coach Vasquez also coaches boy’s high school basketball and boy’s high school tackle football. Coach Vasquez said all his teams are successful.
Growing up Coach Vasquez played football for his high school in the state of Illinois. Football was and still is his favorite sport. He is a Chicago fan all the way liking the Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, and Chicago cubs.
When Coach Vasquez played football he looked up to Bo Jackson. Bo Jackson was a professional football player. But the main reason Coach Vasquez looked up to Bo Jackson was because Bo Jackson was a multi sport player which meant he played more than one sport professionally.
Currently, Coach Vasquez is in the process of obtaining his masters degree and plans on coaching for a little while longer. Let’s hope he stays as the main coach with our Harmony.
