Mr. Maoche or Halim Maoche
Mr. Maoche told us about traveling and coming overseas from Paris, France. Originally from Algerian descent, Mr. Maoche had mastered German, French, Berber, Latin, English and Dutch. Despite coming from France, he has been to many Metropolitan cities in America. He stated that, “Nothing is hard and everything should be attempted.”

Mr. Maoche’s daughter primary language is English. Despite her primary language, she enjoys learning French. She says that the hardest part of French is the spellings and phonetics because of the silent words. So far she had learned the greetings, numbers and animals.

Also, a very enthusiastic learner and had learned some vocabulary words .He is from a Puerto Rican descent and his home language Spanish. “However, the most complicated part of French is creating some sentences because of silent words,” he says.

She is originally from Ethiopian descent and her home language, Amharic. She finds French class very interesting, despite the spelling and phonetic difficulties, she still manages to like this class. So far, greetings, countries and numbers are what she has learned.

French class is really interesting to her. So far her struggle is learning to say the accents at a moderate level. She has learned the colors, greetings and everything in general of French. She says that they’re doing reviews and full writing.
