In this movie, Mufasa, the king, has a brother named Scar. Scar wants to be king, but can’t now because Mufasa just had a son named Simba. Scar decides to come up with a plan that kills Mufasa but tricks Simba into thinking he’s the reason why his father is dead. Because of this, Simba decides to run away. Simba meets to animals named Tumon and Pumba. They become great friends. Nala, an old friend of Simba, left her home, Pride Rock, because Scar has ruined everything at Pride Rock. Nala tries to convince Simba to go back and help, he refuses. That same day Mufasa comes back in a vision which convinces Simba to go back to Pride rock and help.
This movie is a great story about the coming-of-age as a person. It shows how to stand up to their fears and to realize what their responsibility is.
Not only is this an amazing movie, on September 16, 2011 The Lion King 3D was put into theaters. People of all different ages went. Kids who grew up with it, like myself, and kids that just heard about It. Overall the Lion King 3D directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff, was a great success.
