New year’s Resolution

With the beginning of a new Year, a few students produced New Year’s Resolutions to accomplish before the start of the year 2013. In all Harmony schools, students are recommended to set goals throughout the year.  Stephenie Navarro and Autumn McDonald (from 8a) have different resolutions to accomplish. Stephenie’s resolutions are personal, but Autumn’s resolution is school-related. Nevertheless, both students want to achieve it in the pursuit of happiness. Through hard work and dedication, Stephenie and Autumn quest begin now.
Stephenie Navarro (from 10th grade) comes up with 2 resolutions for this year. “To be at to the Harry Potter theme park in Orlando and lose weight.”Furthermore, Stephenie conferred with her parents about her plans, later she found out that her parents agreed to take her to Orlando and help her lose weight. So far, Stephenie’s road to success is “pretty good”.
From reaching her Ar goals and receiving a Kindle for a prize, all Autumn McDonald (from 8a) wants is straight A+’s. In fact, Autumn is already thinking about college. “So when colleges look at my score they can see I did really well”. By improving her grades, Autumn attempts to “work harder and pay attention in class”. Currently, Autumn says that her journey to a paradise of perfect grades is “going semi-okay”.
It’s still the beginning of 2012 and only a few students have New Year’s Resolutions. Despite that, we all want to accomplish something. Hopefully, we will enhance our potential and do the best we can, whether if we have New Year’s Resolutions or just one simple goal.
