Everybody has probably heard about people breaking records in different things like in, Basketball, Football, Soccer, Baseball, ect. But on December 27th 2011 there was a new record that was broken in the NFL! The record breaker was Drew Brees, he’s a New Orleans Saints quarterback. Brees broke the mark of 5,084 yards set by another quarterback Dan Marino, a Miami Dolphines player. Drew Brees broke the record while he was in the middle of a game against the Alanta Falcons at the Superdome in New Orleans! Once the record was broken the crowd got real loud as they cheered for Drew Brees and all his teamates ran and jumped on him with excitement! After this day Drew Brees has been the most respected, one of the best Quarterbacks in the NFL and will go into the Hall Of Fame as legendary!!!!
