Anti-Bullying

Anti-bullying week is a week dedicated to the stop bullying in school. In the recent years bullying has to its every extent to where the victims have taken their life. To stop this from continuing, various international groups have come together to give an aid in the battle to stop bullying. There many types of bullying like, physical, emotional, verbal, cyber, sexual, and homophobic. Cause of this, bullying has been given a week of its own, to help us remember the consequences of bullying.

Physical bullying is when someone physically hurting another like, punching, shoving, and other physical. Emotional bullying is when a person use emotions to hurt another like, the silent treatment and harassment. Verbal bullying is when a student verbally hurts another like, calling names. Cyber bullying is when someone bullies another through Internet. Sexual bullying is when one harasses another to do something sexually. Last but not least, homophobic bullying is a new bullying where bullying is encouraged by the people in the communities.

20-40% of bullying is actually reported, 70% of the bullying is found in the years of middle and highs school, and 7-12% of bullying is posed as a serious threat. So thanks to the UK, bullying is slowly going away. A wise man once said “God gave you life, so only he can take it away not you.” So don’t stand around when a kid is being bullied, do something.
