80’s Today
People now-a-days would consider the 80’s style to be “out there.” In the year 2012, kids are done with blending in with the crowd. People want to be “out there.” This is why the 80’s style has come back.
The 80’d style was very bright and very big. They would wear neon colored clothing and have crazy colors in their hair. The famous hair style in the 80’s was basically a mullet. Very short layers on top and long thin hair at the bottom.
Most typical teens, especially girls, have adapted to this 80’s style. The popular girl outfit is colored or plain tights with neon colored sweater and cute snow boots. The popular guy outfit is a kind of loose skinny jeans, blazers with a white shirt and skinny ties.
Not everything in the 80’s was all that great though. The style is amazing but in the 80’s drugs were big. A lot of teens have started following this new trend of using. Even though people may look good on the outside, but they are not good on the inside.
