Spring is almost here and you know what that means, “track season”! Its official Harmony Tigers have recently added track to the sports/club list this year. They have now held their third track practice since in the back parking lot of the school. They have practice Monday and off the “track” workouts on Thursdays.
I went around and interviewed some of the participants on the track team and asked them how they liked track so far. I got a lot of good responses. “its fun but, I get tired easily”, said Blair Arney. Everyone that I interviewed said, running on the pavement was more challenging than running on an actual track because its easier to grip. Sha’Kaela McCurdy said, “I’d rather practice on the track because the measurements on the concrete are not accurate.
Hopefully we will get a track built soon so the athletes and coaches will have less to worry about but, until then GOOD LUCK HARMONY TIGERS!
