Girl Scouts at Harmony

Last Thursday, January 26, the Harmony Girl Scout Troop #3512 hosted a program at the PTO meeting. The even consisted of both the national pledge and Texas pledge followed by the Girl Scout Promise, Law, and several traditional Girl Scout songs.

The Girl Scout Troop at Harmony includes Ciara in 1A, Joanna in 1B, Saloni in 2A, Cielo in 2A, Darian in 2A, and Abigail in 4B. All these girls performed in the event.

According to Saloni, the girls practiced "every Thursday." Darian, a fellow scout, said "she was a little nervous" about performing. The oldest of the girls, Abigail, admitted that she truly feels like a sister to all the younger girls in the troop.

The program, promoting their cookie sales, could only have been better if more people had attended the event. If you were unable to attend and would still like to purchase cookies, contact any of the girls. Each box costs $3.50 and helps support our troop.
