The Texas State Fair, probably the best fair in America. Well, at least in my opinion. It’s big, and amazingly fun. It all began March 25, 1886.
The Texas State Fair this year began September 30, 2011 and ends October 30, 2011. Tickets aren’t the expensive part. Children and seniors pay $10.95, and adult’s pay $13.95. Everything fun comes with a price.
Now, what’s that one thing everyone wants and needs? DELICIOUS FOOD! Honestly, not exactly everything at the State Fair is healthy. They serve treats like fried ice cream, and fried cookie dough. Crazy huh? What can I say? Only in Texas.
Every teenager always dreams about seeing their favorite artist in concert. Sadly, not everyone has the money to get these tickets. Thankfully, the fair’s a way to get a free concert. First come first serve. This year they have people like Mitchel Muso and Hanson to Katie Armiger and La Mafia.
Everything at the state fair seems so fun, but to do things there, you need coupons. This might become the most expensive part. Once you start having fun, you’re not going to want to stop. A sheet of coupons has 20 coupons. Each sheet of coupons cost $10. They have rides and little games for younger children. All of the activities looked very fun because the lines seemed packed all the time.
I certainly hope that you attend this fair. I for one love it every year. There might be a lot of walking to do, but it’s very worth it all.
