Tiger Football Looks for Fresh Start

The 2011 football season ended in shame for the Harmony Tigers. They had lost 3 of their 4 total games by a blowout score. No one on the team wanted to do anything that had anything to do with football.

Now, 7 months later, the team is rejuvinated looking for a fresh start after their 1st season, which was more of a learning experience. Everyone wants to win, but there is still alot of hard work to be put in. " I think we have a good chance of winning, we have a good team, we have good skill players and a great group of core players," said Coach Vasquez. " I don't think we will go very far," and, " Losing key players like Valon Ahmeti and Jesus Ramirez hurt our chances of winning. Key players leaving does create wholes the team needs to fill. Michael Mongomery said, " Everyone needs to step up now and play good football as a whole team.

After all the wholes are filled, there is ultimatley 1 goal, and that is to WIN. " Realistically, I think we can win 6 games if we try our best," said Reginal Blouin a soon to be freshman football player. Alex Lopez, who seems very excited for football to start said, " We can win 10 games because we are just that good of a team." Everyone is at the right intensity level for next year. Lets hope the team can carry that intensity into next season and win games.

If the Tigers want to avoid losing most of their games again next season, players from last year like Arash Gill and Jason Frias need to play key roles in the success of the football team. But games are won and lost as a team so everyone needs to play a part in the outcome of the team.

The team has alot of hard work to do if they don't want to be ashamed anymore.

Football training starts August 1st and the first football game of the season is in September.
