Why is Sports So Important?

Sports are a great way to socialize and meet new people. Watching games on T.V. and listening to the team highlights on the radio can be enjoyed by many people at any age regardless of their culture.

Moreover, sports have many benefits such as reducing stress, helping us sleep better at night, keeping us motivated to eat healthier, and improving our metabolism. Sports also increase our bone strength and promote a healthy immune system.  Over time, sports can reduce the risk of heart disease. 

Sports give us variety, maintain our interest, and keep our body in shape. There are many types of sports that people participate in such as football, basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, skating, and skiing.

 Sports are very important and should be a part of our daily life.
