Tuesday night our Harmony Girls Basketball team played Harmony Grand Prairie. Our girls were on a three game losing streak looking for their first win. Unfortunately the girls lost in a heartbreaking fashion.
Throughout the whole game our Lady Tigers played smart and tough basketball. For most of the game we had a pretty good lead. It looked like we were going to win. But a late 4th quarter surge by Grand Prairie was enough for a comeback win against our girls.
During the game, injuries played a big factor to the Lady Tiger’s loss. Jocelyn Guajardo, a key player, sat out most of the game with a knee injury. The rest of the team regrouped and bench players stepped up but it just wasn’t enough.
Arguably, this was the best game our Lady Tigers have played so far all season. They kept it close and didn’t give up.
Tuesday December 5, is the day of the Lady Tigers next game.
