Blue Slide Park

Mac Miller released his new album “Blue Slide Park” on November 8, 2011. He is a new artist, but his freestyles and songs make him sound like a natural. This 19 year old rapper will have you mesmerized with his lyrics.
Malcom McCormick   was born on January 19, 1992. Born and raised in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Mac started getting serious about rapping at the age of 15. He said he would ditch the parties, and stay at home writing songs. All that worked paid off, because upon turning 18 Mac Miller was signed with Rostrum Records and released his first mix tape “K.I.D.S.” in August 2010.
Blue Slide Park goes back to Mac’s early years in life. There are songs about the old park he used to go to, parties, relationships, and breaking into the rapping business. A lot of these songs are very relatable. The album has 16 songs, including one of his most famous, “Donald Trump”.
No matter how mature Mac may come across, I believe he’s still a kid. This is why his lyrics are so relatable and just can perfectly explain the things normal teens go through. He’s not like one of those rappers on the radio rapping about the same thing. This album is amazing, and totally worth buying.
