Harmony’s New Students

New pencils, new books, new binders, and with the start of a new year, we’ve had an onset of new students. The general buzz about Harmony seems to be good. As Miranda in 9A said, “I like it. The people are nice and the homework isn’t that bad. I met a good friend.”

The new high school students seem to be adapting to Harmony school life well, with very few complaints. One shared concern is lunch food. “It’s like cold lunch. The pudding tastes like paper. The pizza tastes like cardboard,” Jesus in 10B responded when asked about school lunches.
Overall, students are excited about the new year. Favorite classes biology for Rebecca in 9A, art and Spanish for Jesus, and physical education for Miranda, keep their days from ever being boring. “I’m not here by punishment; I’m here by choice,” remarked Rebecca.
